Love Must Be Demonstrated

"Show to these me, therefore, in the sight of the churches [congregations], the reality and  plain truth of your love (your affection, goodwill, and benevolence) and what [good reasons] I had for boasting about and  being proud of you." 2 Cor. 8: 24. AMP

A Kingdom Citizen's Duty

"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul and with all your mind (intellect). [Deut. 6:5] This is the great (most important, principal) and first commandment. And a second is like it. You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself. [Lev. 19:18.] These two commandments sum up and upon them depend all the law and the prophets." Matt. 22:37-40. AMP

“All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth. Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit,  teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded YOU. And, look! I am with YOU all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.” Matthew 28:18-20.

" All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work."  2 Timothy 3:16-17.

Accordingly, put away all badness and all deceitfulness and hypocrisy and envies and all sorts of backbiting, [and,] as newborn infants, form a longing for the unadulterated milk belonging to the word, that through it YOU may grow to salvation, provided YOU have tasted that the Lord is kind." 1 Peter 2:1-3. NW

Our Mission

Our mission is to carry out Christ's commission of drawing to him and teaching, citizens of the kingdom to fulfill God's purpose of filling the earth again with obedient, loving, peaceful stewards of his rulership.

In this, we will work hand-in-hand with all other kingdom commission bearers, building up the body of Christ to maturity.

The fulfillment of the commission is not just about preaching and teaching, but more importantly exhibiting the fruit of the spirit in one's life where it can be seen by others. This is whet draws others to Christ. As James said: "Faith, if it does not have works, is dead in itself. Nevertheless, a certain one will say: 'You have faith, and I have works. Show me your faith apart from your works, and I shall show you my faith by my works ' ...  Indeed, as the body without breath is dead, so also faith without works is dead." James 2:17, 18, 26 NW

This is serious business because Jesus warned: "be on the watch for false prophets that come to you in sheeps covering, but inside they are ravenous wolves. By their fruits you will recognize them ... Every good tree produces fine fruit ... not everyone saying  to me, Lord, Lord, will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing  the will  of my Father who is in the heavens wil. Many will say to me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophecy in your name and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful workss in your name? And yet then I will confess to them: I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness." Matt. 7:15, 16, 21-23. NW

They were using the gifts and powers God gave them for everything but preaching and exhibiting the kingdom in their lives. Their lives were not changed by the fruit of the spirit because they resisted the spirit. Righteousness means being obedient to kingdom law which comes from being made over in kingdom personality. It means loving the body (the brotherhood) more than one's self.

Perhaps Paul put's it best: "If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels ... but do not have love ... have the gift of prophesying ... have all knowledge ... have all the faith ... give all my belongings to feed others ... hand over my body, that I might boast ... I am not profited at all ... Love never fails ... the greatest ... is LOVE." 1 Cor.13:1-13. NW

Finally, it's a commandment. Jesus stated: "I am giving you a NEW commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are my disciples,IF your have love among yourselves." John 13:34-5, NW

What is he to think of the warring and bitter disagreements between denominations, etc.? Love is all!

Jesus could not have put it more plainly. "If you love me, you will observe my commandments. He that has my commandments and observes them, that one is he who loves me. In turn he that loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and will plainly show myself to him." John 14:15, 21 NW

A part of our commission is to teach what God's love is and how to apply it. 1 Cor. 13: 4-7.

Statement Of Faith

The Apostle's Creed

We believe in God

The Father Almighty,

Maker of heaven and earth:

And in Jesus Christ

His only Son our Lord,

Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost,

Born of the Virgin Mary,

Suffered under Pontius Pilate,

Was crucified, dead, and buried;

He descended into hell;

The third day he rose again from the dead;

He ascended into heaven,

And sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty;

From there he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

We believe in

The Holy Ghost;

The communion of Saints;

The forgiveness of sins;

The resurrection of the body;

And the life everlasting.

 Peter's Speech At Pentacost

               (Acts 2:17-36 )

 ‘“And in the last days,” God says, “I shall pour out some of my spirit upon every sort of flesh, and YOUR sons and YOUR daughters will prophesy and YOUR young men will see visions and YOUR old men will dream dreams; and even upon my men slaves and upon my women slaves I will pour out some of my spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. And I will give portents in heaven above and signs on earth below, blood and fire and smoke mist; the sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the great and illustrious day of Jehovah arrives. And everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved.”’

“Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus the Nazarene´, a man publicly shown by God to YOU through powerful works and portents and signs that God did through him in YOUR midst, just as YOU yourselves know, this [man], as one delivered up by the determined counsel and foreknowledge of God, YOU fastened to a stake by the hand of lawless men and did away with. But God resurrected him by loosing the pangs of death, because it was not possible for him to continue to be held fast by it. For David says respecting him, ‘I had Jehovah constantly before my eyes; because he is at my right hand that I may never be shaken. On this account my heart became cheerful and my tongue rejoiced greatly. Moreover, even my flesh will reside in hope;  because you will not leave my soul in Ha´des, neither will you allow your loyal one to see corruption. You have made life’s ways known to me, you will fill me with good cheer with your face.’

“Men, brothers, it is allowable to speak with freeness of speech to YOU concerning the family head David, that he both deceased and was buried and his tomb is among us to this day. Therefore, because he was a prophet and knew that God had sworn to him with an oath that he would seat one from the fruitage of his loins upon his throne, he saw beforehand and spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that neither was he forsaken in Ha´des nor did his flesh see corruption. This Jesus God resurrected, of which fact we are all witnesses.

"Therefore because he was exalted to the right hand of God and received the promised holy spirit from the Father, he has poured out this which YOU see and hear. Actually David did not ascend to the heavens, but he himself says, ‘Jehovah said to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand, until I place your enemies as a stool for your feet.”’ Therefore let all the house of Israel know for a certainty that God made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom YOU impaled.”. . .NW

Love Your Enemies

  "I tell you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, [Pro. 25:21, 22.] to show that you are the children of your Father Who is in heaven; for he makes His sun rise on the wicked and on the good, and makes the rain fall upon the upright and the wrongdoers [alike]. For if you love those who love you, what reward can you have? Do not even the tax collectors do that? And if you greet only your brethren, what more than others are you doing? Do not even the Gentiles (the heathen) do that? You, therfore, must be perfect [growing into complete maturity of godliness in mind and character, having reached the proper height of virtue and integrity], as your heavenly Father is perfect." [Lev.19:2, 18.] Matt. 5:44-48 AMP

"Then Jesus said, 'Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." Luke 23:34 NRSV

"And while they were stoning Stephen, he prayed, Lord Jesus, receive and accept and welcome my spirit! And falling on his knees, he cried out loudly, Lord, fix not this sin upon them [lay it not to their charge]!  And when he had said this, he fell asleep [in death]." Acts 7; 59, 60. AMP

"You must pray, then, this way: Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified. . . . and forgive us our debts, as we also have  forgiven our debtors.' For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly father will also forgive you; whereas if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."  Matt.6:19-12, 14, 15. NW

"In like manner my heavenly Father will also deal with you if you do not forgive each one his brother from your hearts." Matt. 18: 23-35. NW
